Welcome to the University of Exeter Sikh Society

We are a friendly society that aspires to unite the Sikh students of Exeter together. The society strives to provide a platform for Sikh students to develop and deepen their knowledge and understanding of Sikhism. We aim to raise awareness of Sikh principle’s, practices and beliefs, by celebrating various festivals on the Sikh Calendar. We hope to provide a voice to the Sikh community and raise any issues affecting any of our members. Fundamentally, the society provides a friendly and open forum to cater for the spiritual and social needs of members, and promote unity between all students irrespective of race, religion or ethnicity.

The Sikh society welcomes all students, both Sikh and non-Sikh to join and embark on this journey with us. We will celebrate Bandhi Chor Divas, Vaisakhi and various Gurprubh’s throughout the year. In addition, we will organise numerous social events, informative talks, group discussions, sports activities and trips to the Gurdwara.

Join our Facebook page for further information and to keep up-to-date with all the events and activity.
