About Us

Aims and Objectives:

  1. To run workshops, talks, walks and other photography related weekly/monthly events and encourage our members to take part, socialise and share ideas with professional photographers.
  2. To collaborate with other societies to have our voice heard. Exeposé, Surf soc and other sports societies all want to create links with Photo soc that our members will benefit from.
  3. To promote student and local photographers by providing a platform for all those interested in the business of photography.

Whether you are a professional photographer, or just planning to start taking your first photos, PhotoSoc is the place for you!

PhotoSoc welcomes anyone interested in photography and aims to provide opportunities for its members' skill improvement as well as for broadening their social circle.

We organise weekly photography workshops run by local artists; termly exhibitions, amazing competitions to test your skills and photography walks and trips to explore new places. PhotoSoc members also have access to all the society's equipment including digital and analogue cameras and a darkroom.

You can find out more by taking a look at our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ExeterPhotoSoc/), visiting our website (http://www.exeterphotosoc.wordpress.com), or just dropping us an email at photosocietyexe@gmail.com.
