About Us

KazAlliance at the Univrsity of Exeter is a non-profit student organization dedicated  to unite students from Kazakhstan and from other countries who have an interest in Kazakh culture, traditions and history, arts as well as politics of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We see our mission in several things. Firstly, to help fellow students and support them in any aspect of living in order to provide the best experience in the University of Exeter. Secondly, promote our country and our culture for those who have an interest in it. And thirdly, we aim to have a lot of fun and make sure everyone has a great time!

For those who are from Kazakhstan we would like to say the following. All of us here had a first day  in the university and we understand the problems that new student may face, especially in the first year.  ExeKaz aims to provide informational support to freshers early on in the academic years during the crucial arrival and easing-in process. We recognise that everyone can be homesick and ExeKaz tries to bring Kazakhstan student together so we would create our own "piece of home" miles away from our motherland. We belive that giving the information or consulting in some things is not enough, so we promote the strong friendship, support between members, so we could encourage each other, help in good and bad times and become really good friends, or maybe even a family.
For international students, we would like to say that w
e will be happy to share our traditions, holidays, culture with everyone. Likewise our Motherland is a home coutry for nearly 120 different nationalities who live piecefully together, so we would like to invite everyone to our society. For us it doesnt really matter where you are from, as long as you enjoy makeing friends with students from Kazakhstan, have an interest in our country or simply want to have fun. We welcome everyone.

Our Society has a wide range of events planned for the coming academic year. Obviously, usual kazakh parties,  various parties organised in the cooperation with other societies will take place, but also we are planning something new, extraordinary and creative.

Exekaz Committee promises that  everyone will enjoy the time and make good friend for life if you join our society!
