Aims and Objectives:
- Create events that reflect our culture
- Be a society that combines all students from different backgrounds
- Grow and to be present in the university
Despite it's small size, Jordan is indeed one of the most traditionally rich and varied nations in the world which offers far more than one would expect. As the Jordanian Society, we represent great deal of heritage and culture which we aim to share with the world, and we aim to start here, at the University of Exeter. Not only are we aimed at sharing our culture and knowledge with everyone, but we are keen to learn from others just as much. Our goal is not to build a society, but to build a family; a group of individuals that have come from around the world to work together and learn from each other.
Our goal to achieve the following will occur through a varied number of social and athletic events which will be held throught the year and managed by our Social Secs. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep updated with all our events.
In addition to this, we aim to provide guidance and assistance to all those who may need them, from all our committee members and our members, we're all one big family after all.
So if you have an interest in Jordanian culture, history or heritage, fancy learning a few words of Arabic or just want to have a few decent nights out, have a few good laughs and meet a varied group of people with many interests, do join us, and we'd be previliged to have you! Anyone is welcome to join!
Plus, as Jordanians, we serve some of the best food you will ever have, and we do know how to have a good time! (Just ask anyone)
