Aims and Objectives
- To widen the reach of BioSoc to many science students to increase inclusivity
- To hold more fun, non-drinking based social events throughout the year
- To increase the number of educational trips to give students value for money and an enhanced learning experience at Exeter
BioSoc is the University of Exeter's Biology Society! We encourage anyone and everyone to join, no matter what form of biology you study.
Our society puts on fun socials throughout the year, which is a fantastic way to meet a huge range of people and climb closer to the elusive title of 'big name on campus' (BNOC). We also provide exclusive ticket prices, drinks deals and queue jumps when possible!
We also organise academic talks and extracurricular trips each term, with behind the scenes access to places such as the Plymouth Aquarium and the Eden Project
For intramural sport we have a 6 aside and 11 aside men's football team run by captain Will Cardno, and a mixed netball team captained by Bea Elphinstone. We welcome all standards of players and give you the opportunity to play at regular matches each weekend. Membership is £10 for netball and £20 for football (including both 6aside and 11aside teams).
