Romanian Society

Romanian or not, RoSoc wishes you a warm welcome!

For the Romanians out there, RoSoc Exeter aims to provide a sense of security and comfort to those of you who are experiencing homesick feelings. We want to help make your stay here at Exeter as awesome as possible by helping out with anything from settling in, to celebrating important events, to offering guidance on career development back in Romania. Familiar people and routines will help you keep your new life at university in balance.

For everyone else, you are welcome to our society through which we hope to introduce to you our traditions from music, to food and language. We hope that by joining us this year, you will discover who we are and enrich your cultural experience.

Our society organizes all kinds of activities that will help you make friends for life and will give you time off  from all the academic stress! Our activities vary from cultural and academic (e.g.: career-focused workshops, trips) to social meetings (such as house parties, BBQs, club nights, formal dinners, etc.).

What do I get from this membership?

We aim to organize at least five big events in 2019/2020. By joining you will benefit from discounted or free entry to these events. More information will be displayed on our Facebook page.

We are looking forward to welcoming you into our family!
