Aims and Objectives:
Please make sure you join the PPE Society Facebook Page after you have paid your membership.
The PPE Society welcomes anyone studying any combination of Philosophy, Politics and Economics or an interest in the fields.
Our focus as a society is to provide a community for those studying PPE or any combination of the three subjects. We aim to build a network for people to discuss academic affairs, form friendships and enjoy fantastic events.
As an inter-departmental subject, our voice is sometimes lost in the system and the society aims to correct this as well as provide a platform for discussion of the subject. The society, now in its sixth year, is still young and ever expanding, just like the course at Exeter. We wish to continue to grow and raise the profile of PPE at Exeter and help our course more efficiently.
We hold fortnightly socials, which vary greatly and are always inclusive, well attended and lots of fun. We also host academic speakers, trips, debates and help classes throughout the year, as well as having two intramural sports teams, playing football and netball. The society also has an alumni network, which allows us to stay in touch after graduating and form employment/corporate links.
There is plenty on offer within the society and we are extremely welcoming, so join up for £7 and see for yourself. We look forward to meeting you.
