Forensics Society

The Forensic Society is a fairly new society which formed in 2012/2013.

The society originally formed to support those with modules in Forensic Science and to broaden their knowledge by organising lectures and seminars taken by external professionals in the field of forensics. This is a main aim of the society which will continue into the university year with several guest speakers expected throughout the year.

A number of trips are also undergoing planning for throughout the year to give students the chance to visit live trials and experience forensics in action. However this year, the society wants to expand and explore the more popular view of what forensics is all about. Expect Murder Mysteries film nights, series marathons of Silent Witness, Cluedo themes, a bit of Sherlock and more importantly a chance to own and wear your own forensic suit!

We have a team of students to make up our committee who would all be available to answer any questions you might have. All you need to do is find our Facebook page ‘Exeter Uni Forensic Society’ to ask questions and find out about upcoming events.
