About Us

A peer support group dedicated to providing support and information for students with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, offering weekly peer support sessions run by student facilitators.

Our society will allow students affected by OCD to exchange advice and guidance, raise awareness and support each other in a non-judgemental environment. Seeking help for a mental health condition can be hard. We will aim to provide a safe platform to discuss the many difficulties experienced by those affected by OCD. Whether our members are looking for weekly peer support, or just a friendly chat after having a difficult day, our group will provide a space for them. Our objective is to make sure our members feel comfortable exchanging advice and can freely discuss their experiences of managing life with the condition.

If you are interested in becoming involved in the running of the group, either as a facilitator or as publicity secretary please let us know! This is an amazing opportunity for students with previous experience with or exposure to OCD (examples include lived experience, academic study, work experience, volunteer experience).

Deadline for applications: Friday the 8th of October at 8pm (BST)

If you have any queries or want to help out in other ways you can send us an email at ocdpeersupport@groups.exeterguild.com
