About Us


The aims and objectives of the Society are as follows;

  1. Support the WaterAid organisation through; fundraising on behalf of WaterAid, advancing the agenda of WaterAid’s objectives through campaigning and lobbying, and through involvement with any activities WaterAid hosts in collaboration with Universities and other members of the general public. 
  2. Raise and increase awareness within the Exeter community about the importance of access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene and the impact it has on day-to-day lives. This can be done through events, informative posts and any other means necessary to portray a picture of the essential role clean water plays in our lives.
  3. Aim to aid and secure basic Human rights in developing and under-developed countries with relation to access to clean water, hygiene, and sanitation.

Mindful Morning

We are looking to host a mindful morning event in preparation for World Water Day. We will start with a yoga session in the morning followed by a speaker from Zambia in the afternoon who will discuss the importance of clean medical supplies.

World Water Day Kahoot Quiz
22nd March 9am - 23rd March midnight
Kahoot
For World Water Day, we will be hosting a quiz on Kahoot for participants. The Kahoot will consist of General Knowledge / Water poverty-based questions but will have an educational theme. We have 4prizes that we will award participants for the top 4.
