About Us

Exeter Trauma and Orthopaedics Society (ETOS) is a new and upcoming society, aimed at anyone who is interested in discovering more about the speciality. Our objective is to provide a detailed insight into trauma care and orthopaedic surgery by hosting a variety of educational opportunities throughout the year. This will include exam focussed teaching sessions, practical skills workshops, hospital placements, and inspiring first-hand career insights provided by specialists working within the field. We hope that students gain an appreciation for the opportunities and challenges Trauma and Orthopaedics has to offer. Our focus is to provide an exciting platform for those considering Trauma and Orthopaedics as a prospective career.

Aims and Objectives:

  1. To conduct regular teaching and revision sessions for students interested in Trauma and Orthopaedics.
  2. To connect students who are interested in Trauma and Orthopaedics with specialists working within the field.
  3. To collaborate with other societies to strengthen the Exeter medical community, providing a foundation of opportunities that will help shape future careers.
