About Us

The University of Exeter Bangla Society aims to bring together Bangladeshi students, providing an opportunity to discover and celebrate our culture. We hope to create a sense of community and represent the rich and diverse Bengali culture at Exeter, whilst creating a home away from home for students. We intend to bring the Bangladeshi culture to Exeter through events and celebrations like 'Ekushey Febraury' (International Mother Language Day', ‘Pohela Boishakh’ (Bangla New Year) and ‘Shadhinota Dibosh’ (Independence Day). Bangladesh has so much history to share, and we are so excited to celebrate our beautiful culture through the music, art and FOOD (so. much. food.)!!!

We welcome anyone who has an interest in learning about our unique and vibrant culture!
