About Us

Aims and Objectives:

  1. Run an annual festival called Pint of Science, which aims to bring cutting edge scientific research to pubs across Exeter, to inspire discussions with the general public in an informal and comfortable environment.
  2. Grow such that we can run many successful events in Exeter throughout the year.

Pint of Science is an international festival of all things science. Run in May every year, we take over pubs around the city to showcase the very best of the world class research in topics from astrophysics to psychology. If you have a passion for science then join us to help run this fantastic event, and have a few pints in the process. Visit: to find out more.

In November this year, we have our first event: An Evening with an Astronaut!

Ever wanted to hear what it’s like to gaze down at the Earth from space, to pop outside for a quick spacewalk, or perhaps to command the International Space Station? Well we have some great news…
Pint of Science and ISSET have joined forces to bring you our most ambitious collaboration yet; a week-long astronaut tour with former NASA astronaut Steve Swanson!
On November 21st, our tour will bring scintillating space stories to Exeter - first-hand accounts from a real-life star man!
We’d really like you to come and meet him, we think he’ll blow your mind... Tickets available now!

The main Pint of Science event for May 2019 is in the initial planning stages, if you wnat to get involved then drop us an email!
