About Us

Exeter's Animal Welfare Society aims to bring students together across campus to provide a forum for discussion and promotion of animal rights. We aim to provide trips to local animal sanctuaries, as well as various on-campus events throughout the year aimed at fundraising and promoting awareness of issues surrounding animal well-being.

These events will vary from regular lunch and evening socials, to debates and educational discussions. If you wish to help in the bettering of animal welfare both on campus, locally, and internationally, Animal Welfare Society is the society for you!

Aims and Objectives:

  1. To promote Animal Welfare causes on campus by helping members to run campaigns.
  2. To provide a space for people to discuss Animal Welfare issues, learn more about them, or meet like-minded people.
  3. To become more involved with local campaigns such as beach cleans, The Great British Birdwatch, as well as more national ones such as London Fashion Week, Brexit and Animal Welfare.
