PearShaped Music Magazine

Aims and Objectives:

  1. To improve the volume of musical events in Exeter covered by PearShaped Music Magazine
  2. To introduce our own photography to our website and society
  3. To further assist our members in improving their writing skills/helping them with future employment within the music industry, by providing more workshops etc.

PearShaped is an online music magazine and it’s here to make sure that nobody misses out on the best live music in Exeter. We know everything that’s happening in the city’s live music scene, and we supply comprehensive listings to keep you up to date.

With our collection of insightful writers, we produce a high-quality body of music journalism for everybody to enjoy, covering both local and global music. We do our utmost to make Exeter a place for great live music and incredible music journalism.

We are run entirely by volunteers who want to make Exeter’s music scene a better place for music lovers, and who want to show what they can do. PearShaped could always use your help, whether you’re in a band, work at a venue, run a night, want to write for us, or whether you’re involved with live music at all.

If you want to get involved with us, head on over to our contact page (, where you’ll find all the relevant details.
