Get food for thought with talks from great guest speakers
Whether you're vegetarian, vegan, or even a meat eater who would love to cook more veggie food, Exeter Uni Vegetarian Society is a diverse, friendly space for anyone with an interest in all things veg and animals.
We host regular talks from leading professors which have a fantastic turn out! Such as, our talk by Jeff Mannes on 'Why we love dogs, eat pigs and wear cows' in December 2015 with the attendance of over 200 people.
Not only this, your veggie food cravings will certainly be satisfied, you will get the chance to dine in Exeter's one and only 100% vegetarian restaurant at least once or twice whilst being a member of VegSoc for the year!
And not forgetting our anual go vegan week! Every February, where you will get the chance to try out new vegan recipes, 3 times a day, from our own comittee members, along with some exciting events.
Other events we host include film screenings, speed friending, cocktails, drinks, bowling.
If you're interested in sharing recipes, animal welfare, or the environment, VegSoc will have you covered!
