Other Roles
Other Roles
In addition to academic rep roles, there are several additional opportunities and roles which interact with Subject Councils and SSLCs.
Combined Honours Reps
A short guide to representing Combined Honours students, including managing additional meeting invites from other departments.
Equality Reps
Equality Reps ensure the voices of under-represented and marginalised students are heard so their opinions and needs are represented.
Portfolio Roles
In addition to general responsibilities, Subject Chairs can assign specific tasks and duties to reps in order to make the Subject Council work for their students' needs.
Society Delegates
Society Delegates are responsible for working with a Subject Council on behalf of the members of an Academic Society.
Student Champions
Student Champions work within specific University structures to support aspects of representation, but are not Academic Reps themselves.
