There is no maximum on the number of reps we can have, so once you have submitted your application, you will automatically become a rep, and you will receive an email within the next two hours confirming this.
Your confirmation email will include a link to rep training - only reps who have completed training will be able to attend SSLC or PGRLF meetings.
An SSLC can have a maximum of 12 student rep members. Reps who are not selected for the SSLC will still have important work to do within the rep team, such as collecting views and opinions from students, liaising with University departments (including the Library), and helping to run your group's social media accounts.
A Students' Guild Officer will hold a meeting with all trained reps before the first SSLC or PGRLF meeting, and will conduct a group discussion to select the members of the SSLC/PGRLF. You will be contacted with details when this is arranged, and it will take place around 1-2 weeks before the SSLC/PGRLF.
