Notice is hereby given that a referendum is to be held for the following question at the University of Exeter Students’ Guild:

CAMPAIGNer and leader Registration
Student campaigner registration will be submitted electronically via the website exeterguild.com/referenda from Monday 13 May 2019 until Thursday 16 May 2019.
This registration process will include;
- Individual student members of campaigns, indicating which campaign a student wishes to join and actively campaign on behalf of.
- Individual students who wish to be considered as potential Campaign Leaders.
Third-party campaigners will register separately after the campaign briefing, dependent on the numbers which may be determined at the Briefing stage.

Eligibility
All students as defined as full members of the Students’ Guild who have a current enrolment record may register with a campaign and vote.
- It is the responsibility of each student to ensure that their Student Record is up to date before the referendum begins.
- Students who have used their legal right to opt-out of Union membership are not eligible to campaign or vote in any Students’ Guild referendum.
- Occasional students as defined by Senate or those who are validated at Partner Institutions are not entitled to campaign or vote.

CaMPAIGN BRIEFING
All students who wish to be Campaign Leaders are required to attend a meeting with the Deputy Returning Officer which will take place on Friday 17 May from 1pm - 2pm.
It is compulsory for all campaign leaders to attend the Campaign Briefing; those who are unable to attend must contact the Deputy Returning Officer by email elections@exeterguild.com before 4pm on Thursday 16 May or risk being disqualified as potential leaders.
