Information on our opening times and where you can get support over the holidays.
As we head towards the end of term, we hope you’re looking forward to a break over the holidays! Your Students’ Guild Officers and staff will be taking a much-needed break– you can find full details as well as the support available to you below.
Students’ Guild Closure
Your Students’ Guild will be closed from 17:00 on Friday 17 December until 09:00 on Tuesday 4 January, which means that student services including Advice, Activities and Voice won’t be open for support - any queries will be actioned when we return. The teams will be ready to support leading up to then and after the Christmas break.
The Officer team will be off over the break. Some may be taking an extended break, so check their social media channels for exact details. If you need to get in touch with them, get in touch via email and they’ll get back to you when they can when they return from leave.
Guild Reception will be closed from 18:00 Friday 10 December until 09:00 Tuesday 4 January.
Our social media accounts will be checked occasionally over the Christmas break, so you can contact us there and we’ll get back to you when we can.

Leaving your accommodation
If you’re leaving your accommodation in Exeter for the Christmas break, it’s a good idea to check or do a few things before you go, especially if you’re in private accommodation:
Set your heating to come on for a short amount of time – this will help to stop your pipes freezing if it gets really cold and stop condensation and damp occurring.
Take your valuables with you, or make sure you’ve got insurance to cover you.
Let your accommodation provider know if you’re required to.
Tidy before you go – you’ll really appreciate coming back to a tidy space!
Don’t forget to check out our Housing Advice and Move Smart webpages for more info and advice on housing.
We hope you have a nice winter break!
