Widening Participation

We’re here to help.

We understand that many students face additional challenges in accessing higher education, and we are committed to helping you realise your full potential throughout your studies and achieve your degree with further support.

If you’re a mature student, a care leaver, a student with mental health difficulties, or a student who doesn’t have the support of a family network, you could be eligible for additional funding, year-round accommodation and support.

Have a chat to our friendly Advice team and they will be able to assist with:

  • Understanding the eligibility criteria
  • Application for bursaries and fee waivers
  • Listening to your concerns
  • Providing support and guidance on any aspect of your university life
