Guild President, Sunday Blake spoke at the Vox Unconference with Presidents on Edinburgh, South Bank, and Winchester University about the implications of a lockdown/post-lockdown University experience, including the ways in which students' unions unintentionally exclude certain demographics and how this may improve or worsen in a post-covid world.
VP Education, Penny Dinh was on the International Student Leaders Panel. She was joined by Sheffield Students' Union International Officer - Luri Montenegro and University of Leicester Students' Union, Liberation Officer - Tony Magaia.
VP Activities, Liv Harvey sat on the digital opportunities panel where they discussed the digital divide, barriers to engagement, the development of digital learning tools and the future of extra-curricular activity.
The conference was attended by student leaders from universities across the country and break down campus barriers and find the solutions to three key challenges for Higher Education.
