A great year for nominations for teaching awards 2019

The Teaching Awards are just around the corner, and there have been a fantastic number of nominations submitted, with 1103 total nominations submitted. The Teaching Awards are an opportunity to reward and to recognise members of University staff who have demonstrated exceptional teaching, research and support, and facilitate the promotion of best practice from across the University.

The full breakdown of the nominations are as follows:

Total submitted nominations: 1103
Total number of Students participating: 833
Nominations for Best Teacher/Academic: 453
Nominations for Most Supportive Staff Member: 156
Most engaged faculties:

  • Biosciences, 72
  • Graduate School of Education, 53
  • Management, 51

Most Participants in a college: CEMPS, 185

The Teaching Awards will be held in Term 3, so keep an eye out for more news!
