As part of Small Talk Saves Lives, Pete’s Dragons held a SuicideTALK training session at Streatham Campus on Wednesday. The training session covered the following:
- How suicide is a serious community health problem that is often misunderstood
- How personal and community beliefs about suicide affects suicide stigma and personal safety
- How the TALK steps can prevent suicide
- How to contribute to life protection, preservation and promotion activities in your community
The session was attended by 30 students and the feedback has been quite positive.
If you missed out on the session, don't despair! There's still spots available at next week's St Luke's session on Wednesday 30 January from 14:00.
