Referred/Deferred Assessments

Referred/Deferred Assessments

Wishing all students the best of luck for the Referred/Deferred Assessment period.

We are thinking of all our students who are entering into the Referred/Deferred Assessment period (9-27 August); we wish you all the best of luck with your assessment. We know that this can be a really busy and stressful time for many, especially this year as the number of deferred or referred submissions has increased.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed or ill, please remember there is still support out there. If you are feeling like you need support with managing your workload then please contact your College Welfare Advisor or contact University Wellbeing.

If you do not think that there is anyway you can do your exams or you are ill, you can apply to defer via the mitigation process. This could impact on expected timelines for progressing or graduating so please talk to your College Info Points if you need more information .

You are more important than your exams, so don’t struggle in silence and reach out for help if you need it!
