Be the voice for students in College of Life and Environmental Sciences

Do you want to represent your peers, make genuine positive change and be the voice of students in your college? 

There is currently a vacancy for the College Officer for Life and Environmental Sciences. We are pleased to announce applications are now open for this position! The role will be for the remainder of this academic year. 

What is a College Officer? 
The College Officer is the executive student leader for academic representation in CLES. This involves supporting other student representatives, including the Subject Chairs, chairing meetings, such as your Student Partnership Board, and leading discussion in college-level meetings, such as the Education Strategy Group. College Officers have a unique opportunity to ensure your voice is heard by the University to help make change happen.

As one of the College Officers you represent the student voice, making genuine positive change to the experience of students in your College. You will develop vital professional skills and gain experience to boost your employability to put on your CV. We will provide you with support from the Voice Team in your Students’ Guild, with a full induction and ongoing support from us and your fellow Officer team.
