Lead on, and champion, the experience of Postgraduate Research students at the University of Exeter, striving to ensure that the University and the Students' Guild are inclusive and mindful of the needs and experiences of Postgraduate Research students. Critically holds the University to account on all matters of Postgraduate Research.
Champions the Rights and Welfare of all Exeter students both in the community and on the University's campuses. Listens to and amplifies the voices of Exeter students, advocating improvement in student support, and the removal of structural barriers at Exeter.
Lead on, and champion, the Academic Experience at Exeter ensuring the University strives for constant improvement whilst also ensuring that any decisions on the education and academic experience at the University is to the benefit of all students. Critically holds the University to account on all matters of education.
Lead, promote, and champion successful Student Activities at Exeter: be they the student medias, volunteering, societies, or student groups. Uphold student democracy assisting and ensuring that students engage with, make change, and lead their Students' Guild.
Leads the Sabbatical Officer team, advocating for and on behalf of all Exeter students. Takes strategic and executive decisions and holds the Chief Executive to account through being Chair of Trustee Board. Represents all Exeter students to the University, the local community, and nationally.
Trustee Board are responsible for the management and administration of the Guild and (subject to the Students’ Guild Memorandum & Articles and Bylaws) may exercise all the powers of the Guild as outlined in the Memorandum & Articles.
