Student Government Coordinator

Salary: £18,317 p/a

Hours: 36.5 per week

Contract: Permanent


The University of Exeter Students’ Guild is seeking a talented, highly motivated and, enthusiastic individual to provide operational support for the student government (Guild Council) groups supported by the Student Change team at the University of Exeter Students’ Guild.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • - Supporting meetings in full, including arranging times and places, taking full records and distributing those records as well as maintaining action logs.
  • - Supporting Action Logging in full which also incorporates the democratic Student Ideas platform.
  • - Delivering and developing a complete set of records of student meetings in formats which suit student needs.
  • - Raising awareness of and developing democratic systems and democratic participation.
  • - Briefing and supporting elected representatives in their roles.
  • - Playing an active role within the Membership Engagement team and in the development of the Students’ Guild.
