Caveh Zahedi is a filmmaker who after studying philosophy at Yale University embarked on a career in filmmaking. His films are autobiographical and explore the human condition through his own life. He has spoken many times about the influence psychedelics have had on his philosophy and work. In one of his films he documents and explores his battle with a sex addition, and having spoken about the spiritual aspect of this on several podcasts, we hope to explore his ideas on this in relation to philosophy. The event will last just over an hour, the first part consisting of an interview-style conversation conducted by Angus (society president) with the second part open to the audience for questions.
