About Us

We’re your students’ union at Exeter

We exist to make your university experience as amazing as possible! We are led by you and all other Exeter students, with your five elected Full-Time Officers representing your interests at the heart of our work. You are the Students’ Guild, so everything we do is for and with you.

We exist to give you the best experience and opportunities possible and to help you to belong here. Whether you’re on Streatham or St. Luke’s campus, you can join societies, vote in elections, have your say on your experience, get food and drink at our outlets, access our support services and much more.

You’re represented by five Full-Time Officers, who are elected each year to make sure your time at Exeter is as positive as possible. They listen to and represent your views to make positive change on campus and work closely with staff at the Students’ Guild and University.

We’re here for you

We’ve got your back when things don’t go to plan. Things don’t always go how you'd hope it would and sometimes you might want some advice, information on your rights, or support in finding the right help for the circumstances you face. Our independent Advice Service offers a range of confidential and impartial help on the following topics throughout your time at university. Find out more.

Representing you

We’re absolutely committed to ensuring that your time at Exeter is as great as possible, and that means you should play a pivotal role in deciding what that is. Student representation is an important part of what we do. Student representation includes your studies and course, minority groups, your society and so much more. There’s so much to get involved with in representation - find out more.

Making the most out of Exeter

One of the best ways to get settled into life at Exeter is to explore and get a feel for where you’re going to be spending the next few years of your life. Most things in the city are within easy access of both campuses either by walking or a short journey on public transport. There’s always plenty on, so you’ll be able to enjoy what’s on offer whenever you are arriving in Exeter!

Over your time with us you’ll find your own favourite spots, but you can find out more about the city and surrounding areas here.
