Outdoor Hide and Seek social
Grass outside Business School
POSTPONED TO TUESDAY 25TH!
Due to bad weather, we're having to postpone the social to *Tuesday at the same time (12pm-4pm)*. This is not totally confirmed as we haven't let the Guild know yet (I know, we're renegades), so may change. But it's probably going to be on Tuesday. If you've booked tickets, we've emailed you telling you how to roll it over. Otherwise, new tickets will go on sale as soon as we get confirmation from the Guild.
We’re really excited to announce that we’ll be holding our FIRST in-person social of the year on Tuesday 25th May! We'll be playing classic Hide and Seek games like Grandmother's Footsteps, Splat, Psychiatrist, Empire & Mafia - all adapted to allow social distancing. And we won’t be playing contact games like Tea Towel Game – sorry Jordan!
We’ll meet at the grassy area behind the Xfi building at midday. If you’re lost, follow the signs to the Business school & shoot one of us a message on Discord. Masks aren’t required, but bring one anyway so you can use the bathroom or buy snacks on campus.
There are only 23 tickets available: https://www.exeterguild.org/events/8321/36532/ If you don’t book, you won’t be able to attend! That said, tickets will still be “on sale” (they’re free) until the end of the social, so as long as there’s tickets left, you can book at the last minute. Don’t worry if you can’t get a ticket, there should be more of these events, and weekly Discord socials will continue until the end of term!
The other thing you need to do before & after attending is get tested for Covid-19 (but that’s pretty obvious!). Details are here: https://www.exeter.ac.uk/coronavirus/students/testing/ Of course, we have no way of checking, but we trust our members to get tested regularly anyway to protect each other. If you test positive within a week following the social, send an email to email@example.com to let us know. We’ll keep you anonymous, but we need to know so we can get in touch with the other attendees so they can get tested too.
Hey, if you’ve read all of this, I’d just like to say thanks! You’re awesome for wanting to protect other members of Hide and Seek Society, & together, we can make this social the comeback event of the year!
