Halloween Arts & Crafts Fundraiser with the Queer & BAME Collective
Sat 23 October 2021 13:00-15:30
Forum Seminar Room 04
Join LGBTQ+ Society and the Queer & BAME Collective for some spooky arts and crafts! We’ll be making origami bat bookmarks, but feel free to bring your own art supplies to do whatever craft you like!
Tickets are £1.50 and all proceeds will go to the charity Rainbow Migration, who work to support LGBTQI+ people through the UK asylum and immigration system. They provide practical and emotional support for LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum to help improve their confidence and self-esteem and reduce isolation. They also provide specialist legal information and advice, and campaign to improve the treatment of people seeking asylum.
Everyone attending the event should be getting COVID tested twice a week and ideally should get tested the day before the event.
