Guild Council is the Guild's representative body - it's members are the Full-Time Officers and College Officers. All students are welcome to attend.

To find out more about Guild Council, and to submit an agenda item, please go to the website. The agenda is set one week in advance, so submit you agenda item more than one week before (otherwise it will be considered for the next meeting). 

This meeting will be held in-person on St Luke's. There is the option of attending this meeting via Microsoft Teams (details will be added when the agenda is published). Please contact the Voice Team (voice@exeterguild.com) if you have any questions about joining the meeting.

To provide an opportunity for students to raise their thoughts, questions and concerns regarding the potential of UCU industrial action this academic year, and enable students to contribute to shaping the Guild's stance on any potential strike action.

7. FOR DISCUSSION: Welfare Training (student groups)


Student Submission: Provide more welfare training for committee members, so they are better equipped to deal with situations arising with members, and so members feel comfortable disclosing information to them, and they know where to signpost them to.
Students are invited to bring suggestions of the kind of training they think committees need.

Now that we are beyond the mid-term one point, the Guild’s part-time College Officers will each share updates on what they’ve done so far and their ongoing priorities. There will also be an opportunity for questions.

Lily, the Guild President, spent the week (1-5 Nov) in Glasgow at the UN Climate Change Conference. She will be sharing about her experience, what she learned, and how this can relate to students at Exeter.
