Event Description

Eco Grief: Perspectives on our changing planet

XFI Henderson Lecture Theatre
25/02/2020 18:30

Ecological grief can be defined as the psychological response to loss caused by environmental destruction or climate change.

How can we overcome these feelings to spur positive action?
Four experts in different fields will be providing us with their perspectives: two researchers, a journalist and a buddhist chaplain.
Come along to find out more about the impacts of our changing planet, whether it does or doesn't keep you awake at night!
Keep your eyes peeled for profiles of the speakers!
This is a free event but we will be collecting donations for the Australian bushfire crisis.
There will be a question and answer session at the end of the talk!
