Who am I?

I am a second year BA Geography student 

A committee member for GeogSoc and a member of three societies

The BA Geography Subject Chair and the CLES College Officer

I am also a Peer Mentor and was part of the Welcome Team this year


What would I like to achieve?


To ensure that societies hold a diverse range of events that appeal to all students, including alcohol-free ones

To encourage integration between years within societies and collaboration between societies, through shared events e.g. intramural sports

To promote equality, diversity, and inclusivity within all societies and invite members to the Equality Panels throughout the year

Student Voice

To represent the voice of all academic societies within the University and the Guild 

To promote links between the societies and the academic departments/Subject Councils by appointing Reps 

To increase awareness and funding of academic and employability events by working with the Employability Societies Officer and the CareerZone


To access greater funding for events, especially novel and new ideas, so more students can participate 

To provide greater clarity for committee members on Guild terms, such as booking events, funding, risk assessments

To encourage the promotion of memberships all year round, especially for Refreshers in Term 2, by ensuring all societies are value for money
