About Community Action

Everybody leaves university with a degree... what makes you different?

CA is the second largest society on campus and is the only one that works to make you more employable while having a great time. We exist to provide students with the opportunity to volunteer, enhancing their development and benefiting the wider community.

We have a range of weekly projects, one off projects and special projects, which are available to everyone. Alongside this we also have dedicated projects related to specific degrees to get students experience in a degree related career!

Check out our range of projects using the tabs on the website, we have ones working with children – great to those hoping to go into teaching careers, environmental projects – incredibly popular with geography and bioscience students as well as any one interested in sustainability and conservation, and projects working with the elderly – projects fantastic to anyone hoping to go into healthcare.

Our projects are all incredibly popular so be sure to get all your forms completed as soon as possible to ensure you can get onto the projects as soon as possible!
