11:05am on 3 Oct 18 For the university to implement the idea, it would be necessary to provide a concrete plan that would explain the efficiency - you should go to energy department and researchers who can tell you the insolation level in exeter to evaluate the usefulness of solar panels, the profit they could bring etc. Wind mills would not make a lot of sense in a densly populated area, creating danger for birds, people and causing incredible noise that would not perform well in a studying environment. It would be better for you to think about making a business out of it, than a small idea to implement in university. Btw. There are already plans to make energy production/consumption more green in our university: https://www.exeter.ac.uk/sustainability/energyandwater/#tab1
