The Campaigns Picnic is an opportunity to grab a bite to eat with like-minded campaigners, get to know eat other with fun icebreakers and games, learn about the Guild’s equality and liberation initiatives, how we work with the NUS, and have some fascinating discussions about we're all making change happen together on campus and beyond this year.

Do you find yourself spending more time fighting strangers on Twitter than actually reading critical theory? Sick of the media calling you an armchair activist snowflake? This workshop will get you in a room full of passionate people ready to make real change for real people. We will cover the basics of campaign management, successful messaging, and becoming your very best campaigning self. Your time at University is an invaluable social resource and if you see something wrong in the world YOU are the best person to change it and NOW is the time to do it.

A talk and workshop led by your Equality Council. What does liberation mean? What is the Equality Act and how comprehensive is it? Are we all equal now? Learn about how your Student’s Guild facilitates student-led change and representation on campus. Meet and greet your Deputy Vice President Equality, and Wellbeing and learn new ways of seeing the student experience at Exeter. highly recommended for at least one person on every society committee to attend.
