The program is a competition team of students, for the purposes of the program they define a student as:

(a) a person who has enrolled with a UK university or University College
(b) who is following a recognised course of study at that university or University College
(c) who's final award in respect of that course of study has not yet been communicated by that university or University College by end of filming.

You must be available to attend all of the recordings of the program on the dates notified to you by the programme producer. These will be late February, late March, and late April 2018.

Anyone is welcome to come along to see how they fare against the University Challenge practice questions. There are 50 untimed practice questions under exam conditions. All candidates will be emailed their scores, and whether they have placed on the team soon after marking.

Best of Luck!
