Mother and Baby

It can be very isolating when you are at home with a baby or toddler (or both!). And we all know how scary it is to go somewhere when you don't know anyone. But rest assured all parents feel this way and once you've taken the first step, you won't look back. Local Sure Start centres have a lot to offer the under fives age group. Most sessions are free and they hold weekly stay and play groups along with sessions such as baby massage. Under One Roof  holds a range of weekly events including baby signing and wriggle rhythms sensory music group. They also hold regular one off events such as baby discos, family theatre and talks on parenting subjects. Check out the what’s on page There is lots more information on Mother and Baby activies and events or our dedicated blog.

Pregnancy Support

What to do if you think you might be pregnant? The Guild Advice Unit is here to offer confidential and Impartial Advice and Support. See our pages on preganancy support to map your next steps.
