Examples of complaints you may have include misinformation about academic programmes, poor teaching or supervision, insufficient facilities, the behaviour of a member of staff, the behaviour of another student, or a failing in a University service, academic or non-academic. In many cases the issue may be resolved by discussion at an informal level. However sometimes this is not possible and you need to know what steps to take and who to speak to in order to find resolution.
Please remember that a complaint should be submitted as soon as possible after a problem occurs and must be whilst you are a current student or within one month of ceasing to be registered with the University. We can assist you by explaining how the Complaints procedure works and what you need to do. We will read over documents and may accompany you to meetings, however we cannot represent you or write documents for you.
