If you find yourself in difficulty with your studies, the Advice Unit can help on a range of issues such as appeals, misconduct and interruptions.

Advisers within the Students’ Guild Advice Unit are available to talk through any problems you may be having and give you the information you need to make informed choices. We can also advise you what procedures are in place if your academic work is suffering due to circumstances beyond your control, for example if you have been accused of academic misconduct or place an academic appeal.

If you are considering withdrawing, transferring or taking time out of your studies we can provide help or guidance before you commit to making a particular decision. We will help you to be aware of the implications affecting your finances and your ability to return to University. Advisors can also guide you through the complaints procedure if you are dissatisfied with any element of your course.
