Anybody can write for Exeposé, and whether you’re interested in journalism or not, this paper is a great place to get involved. Over the years, our writers, photographers and designers have gone on to work for major publications, including The Guardian, The Daily Mail, the BBC, OK!, Xbox 360 Magazine, and many other titles. Exeposé offers you a chance to try your hand at a variety of sections – from fashion to features, from news reporting to film reviews, there’s something for everyone.
For more information about Exeposé, see the electronic copies of the paper. Exeposé Online is Exeter University’s online news service, produced in conjunction with the student newspaper. Each side of Exeposé has its own committee to help focus the online and paper sides.
If immediate news stories and blogging are more what you are interested in then Exeposé Online is the place to be. Your stories will be available to all students, as well as the general public, and previous stories have been picked up for national newspapers. Check out the Exeposé Society Page to join and for more information.
XpressionFM is Exeter University’s award winning student radio station. The station runs 24/7 throughout each term, with over 50 shows per week. By joining XpressionFM you can be trained to present live radio and be broadcast across campus. If presenting isn’t your idea of fun, then you can go into production, making jingles and adverts – or maybe you’d rather review new music as it comes in before it’s released in the shops? You’ll get out what you put in.
There are also opportunities for you to attend the national student radio conference, SRACon, and meet industry professionals and fellow student radio enthusiasts. As well as the conference you can enter the prestigious Student Radio Awards, hosted by Radio1 and Global at the IndigO2 in London. For more information about XpressionFM, see the station’s website and society page.
