Information on how to apply for the Universities Annual Fund and what it is

As a society you can apply for funding from the Annual Fund, made up of donations from thousands of alumni and supporters of the University. If you have an idea for a project or event, which you require extra funding for to make it happen, and it fulfils the criteria to be awarded funding, then click here to apply.  

To be awarded funding, your project must: 

  • Enhance the student experience across a wide student community including current and future generations of students 

  • Impact a large audience of students (>25) 

Moreover, in accordance with the Guidelines provided by the Annual Fund, projects are more likely to be successful if they demonstrate: 

  • A direct benefit to students’ academic studies, career prospects or extracurricular activities. 

  • Demonstrate that other active fundraising has taken place or part-funding is already available. 

  • Is a start-up initiative or new activity which will become self-funding or achieve alternative funding or support in the future.
