We strongly recommend that you sell tickets for your events via the Guild Website. Not only does this reduce the amount of admin committees need to do, but the website produces a sales report for you, including any customisations via your society dashboard.
All you need to do is complete a budget for your event, and once the event is approved submit a ticket request.
If you need to amend an existing ticket sale, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the details of your changes (don't resubmit your request).
For your events we can set up online ticket sales, with the money going into your society account at the end of each month. Please make sure your event has been approved before you submit this ticket request!
In order to access the Members rate, users must be in the Website system as a member, if not they will be prompted to purchase membership.

By default a list of people who have purchased tickets will be available through your website administration page. In some cases you may wish to provide a physical tickets, vouchers or other physical items associated with the purchase.

Please tell us when you would like advanced tickets to be on sale. If no information is provided tickets will be on sale from when the event is published to the start of the event.

Unless the event is educational or eligible for TOMS you will need to charge VAT on your ticket sales. If your event is exempt from VAT you will need to have submitted a TOMS/Educational budget.
We can add questions to ticket sales to enable you to get important information from event attendees such as email addresses, meal choices/dietary requirements for an event with food, and emergency contacts for trips.
When users purchase a ticket online they will receive an email receipt from the website. It is possible to add text to this receipt which can be used as a reminder of important information, or to provide extra information to users once they have purchased a ticket.
