What is a society?

Societies are groups which are set-up and run by students who share an interest. At Exeter, we have over 250 different societies which cover a huge range, so there really is something for everyone.

What do societies do?

Societies run all sorts of events during the term, such as employability networking events, fundraisers, film screenings, meals out, going to the pub, formal balls, fitness classes, concerts, trips to places around Exeter and Devon and much more!

Feeling inspired? Go and browse our Society Categories page to see which societies you can join!
