What is National Student Volunteering week?

National Student Volunteering Week (NSVW) is a weeklong national event that provides an opportunity for people to get involved and celebrate students volunteering in their communities. This year, NSVW will be running from 11 to 15 February 2019.

We’ll be hosting events during the week, including a bake sale, community litter pick and even a busk-a-thon!

What is student volunteering?

Volunteering is so much more than being involved in community projects carried out by student groups like Exeter Student Volunteering (ESV). Guild societies, sports groups, RAG committees and elected Representatives are volunteers too and play an important role in the student community!

This week, it’s all about supporting and celebrating the great work our student volunteers do! It’s also an opportunity for you to find out more about student volunteering and how you could get involved!
