To represent student views on Employability within the subject, and potentially also be involved with relations with Alumni of Exeter.
The Employability and Careers role involves:-
- To liaise with the College Employability and Alumni Officers and the Employability Lead in their discipline and together co-ordinate appropriate activity.
- To feedback information to the College Employability and Alumni Officers on employability and alumni related events and initiatives.
- To assist the Employability and Alumni Officers with events as and where appropriate.
- To act as a point of contact between the Academic Employability Officer for the department and the students.
- To ensure students are informed of anything that may affect them.
- To give support to the Subject Chair as requested.
The Employability and Careers role should ordinarily have 1 place at the SSLC meeting - if there are several volunteers we suggest a sub-committee is established for general communication, which can then report in to the SSLC meeting.
