Students as Change Agents

The Students as Change Agents project aims to encourage students to improve their University experience through identifying a specific area of concern and exploring opportunities to improve this.

Sabbatical Elections 2011

This year, the Sabbatical Elections were bigger and better than ever in Exeter. Students saw 39 candidates campaign for their votes and 5 were selected to represent the views of Exeter students next year.

Second Best In The Country

New social group launches for Exeter's elderly

Older people in Exeter are set to benefit from a new weekly social event thanks to an initiative launched by students at the University of Exeter. Senior Socials At St Sidwell’s (SSASS) will provide the City’s over 60s with a chance to meet new friends and enjoy tea, cake and regular activities ranging from computer lessons and Wii Games to arts and crafts.

A Response to Banter – the appearance of prejudice

Various students from minority groups of several natures have notified the Guild recently of behaviour which while not unlawful, is at least disrespectful and carries implicit prejudice.
