Finance Assistant - Purchase Ledger
£19,731 to £21,373 per annum depending on experience

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the University of Exeter Students’ Guild, an award winning student union.
Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a proactive approach.
You will be running the Purchase Ledger and working within a team of four finance professionals in a busy environment.
The successful candidate will have proven purchase ledger experience, ideally on SAGE 200, will have a reasonable understanding of VAT, be competent with Excel and will be proactive in assisting in process improvements across the Finance Team. Ideally you should be AAT part qualified or equivalent and be highly organised.
You will play an important role in month end processes and be a point of contact for staff and students, providing high standards of customer care.

We are looking for a highly motivated, fun loving and enthusiastic individual with a proactive approach and solid catering experience whose main role will be to help support the operational running and supervision of the Catering outlets. Exceptional customer service skills are essential and the candidate will be able to thrive in the busy Student Union environment.
The successful applicant will have a working knowledge of current food safety and hygiene legislations, have previous experience of supervising a team in a busy environment and preferably hold the ‘Supervising Food Safety in Catering’ Level 3 award or equivalent. Duties will also include food preparation and cooking, assisting menu development, implementing staff training and rotas, and overseeing stock management.
Please be aware that regular evening and occasional weekend shifts will be worked on a rota based system.
