JOB TITLE: Part time Retail Supervisor (Maternity cover until 31 August 2015)
Required to start as soon as possible, we have an opening for a Retail Supervisor to support our team in the busy Students’ Guild Shop at the University of Exeter.
Duties will include front of house serving at till points, as well as many back office duties such as stock replenishment and ordering, liaison with reps, invoice and stock processing on till systems, processing internet orders and dealing with our many and varied customer enquiries. We will be looking for excellent customer service and a proven track record in the retail environment.
Experience of the education sector is not essential, but with a potential customer base of over 16,000 University students you will need to enjoy working in that area and have a good sense of fun!
Hours: 20 per week
Salary: £9,621 actual (£9.25 per hour)

JOB TITLE: Art Worker (Part time)
The University of Exeter Students’ Guild has created a new role of Art Worker to report into the Communications and Brand Executive.
The department is entering a period of growth to allow it to build on expertise to deliver and support the overarching Guild strategy and Brand and Communications strategy. This post strives to ensure we deliver key services and functions to the organisation as a service provider and innovator. The Art Worker will be responsible for creating visual communications and collateral in line with the artistic and strategic direction of the Communications and Brand Executive and the Graphic Designer. This will also involve helping to build the organisation’s portfolio on social media and image galleries.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic recent graduate who has experience or qualifications in a design-related field. We want someone who is creative, innovative, and ambitious who is looking for an opportunity to demonstrate their talent/skills in the dynamic field of student marketing. A good to excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is required. Prior involvement with a Students’ Guild or Students’ Union isn’t necessary.
Hours:15 per week for 42 weeks per annum
Salary: £5,621 actual (£7.90 per hour)
