Assistant Manager (Comida and Pieminister)


£19,731 (pending cost of living award)


36.5 per week




There is a very exciting opportunity to become an Assistant Manager for the award winning University of Exeter Students’ Guild. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with solid catering experience whose main role will be to oversee the operational running and supervision of the catering outlets (specifically comida and Pieminister).

You will be responsible for the day to day operational running of the aforementioned outlets and will have a proven passion for food. Coupled with the ability to change in a fast moving environment, and previous experience of supervising commercial activity within a catering environment. You will also have a skillset that reflects experience of good budget control and exceptional customer service.

Strong people skills, customer service and a desire to drive sales are essential and you must be able to create and maintain strong relationships with a wide variety of people. The candidate would ideally have a personal license, and a level 3 certificate in supervising food safety coupled with a first aid qualification.

Please be aware that some evening and occasional weekend shifts will be worked during term time. The working pattern during vacation times will be predominately daytimes, Monday to Friday.
